Survivor: Samoa

Love him or hate him, Russell has played the game like no one since Richard Hatch in season one. The fact that he was able to this many seasons later must give him a huge degree of respect.

Will the jury if he makes it that far? Likely but....

Pretty much my thoughts, no one has played the game like this sense Richard. I suspect that if he gets to final round he'll win simply based on "playing the game" since that's how Richard won.

I call BS on not voting for a person if they have money. This is a game. Players need to keep this in mind. Sure, emotionally, they may get hurt because of fake sincerity and lies, but that is part of the game. After this, the players can continue with thier lives now "celebrities"

Good for Russell. They all knew he had it anyways.

Monica isn't as smart as she thinks she is.

If I was Russell, I would be seriously thinking about taking Shambo with me to the finals. Unless I'm misreading things, nobody really likes or respects Shambo. And all the Galu types on the jury probably regard her as a traitor.

Yea, the best person in this game Russell can win with in the final 2 is probably Shambo for the reasons others listed.

I think there's a chance you could have people sit on the jury and go "You know he played a very good game." but that's not human nature, most people would just be pissed off "Damn that guy outsmarted me."

That'd be contrary to almost everything that I've seen happen on reality TV shows where the "loser" determines the winner, most notably in Survivor itself. Again, Richard Hatch manipulated and "played" the other people every bit as much as Russell has and people still voted in favor of him because he "played the game."

Dave Ball is pissing me off with his exit interviews. I thought he was a funny guy, who although he made some terrible mistakes at least tried to play the game, but now it turns out he's just a bitter self-righteous delusional idiot. Too bad...

It is unbelievable how original Galu has fallen apart. They were 8 to 4 Foa Foas. Now there is only Brett and Shambo. Well actually only one as Shambo never consider herself as Galu.
Russell is entertaining to watch but i dont call him great player as he has made many mistakes in the game. Survivor rule number one: You dont tell your castaways that you are multi millionaire. Anyway Russell should be save for next tribal vote as it will be the last time the idol can be played. Russell will play it. I just wonder how long he will last with the idol gone. Personally i want Shambo gone next.

I'm not sure why Shambo is even still around, she's been dead weight since very early in the game. I guess she just hasn't "stuck out" enough for anyone to consider her a threat and when the game was between two tribes she was always on the winning tribe -so little opportunity to oust her.

Russell needed her for the numbers and she was easy to manipulate for him. And now she's possibly a good player to take to the finals, especially since Brett is a much bigger threat still. I could see her getting voted off if Brett wins immunity though. I would love it if the four Foa Foas went to the final 4 intact. ;)

Think it's going to be Final 3. Only two episodes left, this Thursday and this Sunday.

If Russell gets to final 3, it would be smart of him to confess that, Yes, he is a multi-millionaire, and since he doesn't need the money, he will donate all of it to charity (wheither he does so or not).

And the next person voted off Survivor: Samoa...

SHAMBO

About damn time too.

Russell elected not to use the HII, keeping it a souvenir instead.

Tonight was the penultimate episode for this season, the two-hour finale airs Sunday night.

I'm not sure how the five people are going to get kocked down to a final two, or three, in the final episode. Seems that quite a bit has to happen in Sunday night's episode.

It is a final 3, so I'm sure there will be 2 tribals in the first hour. Then the next hour is all the questioning.

Can't believe the final four foa foa members made it all the way to the end.

Well, the second hour will also likely include some or all of the final 4 endurance elimination challenge.

So does Russell make it to the final three without immunity?

I think he'll come up just short and be the last one voted out when Mick and Jarvis roll on him.

My guess - Mick wins it all (unless Brett gets to the final, which I doubt)

I'm not sure. Clearly if Brett wins immunity again, Mick and Jaison have got to team up with Brett and vote out Russell, everything else would be ridiculously stupid. But I just don't know if they are willing to do that. I think there's a chance Jaison thinks he can beat Russell before the jury. And Mick, I don't know, if it's not Russell who gets voted off next it might be him, will be interesting. I think the two people who are most likely to make the finale right now are Natalie and Jaison.
