The first member of the jury: Meh. Didn't like her, don't care.
The second? I didn't see that coming. It's a shame, as that's one of the people I was hoping would win.

If Ozzy ever has a chance at winning, he needs to let himself go physically. You can't escape perception of challenge unbeatability.
Debbie looked pretty satisfied with herself for using her extra vote even though she was ahead by 2 votes anyway.
Tai is badass. Why has he not been seriously targeted yet? Do people assume he will do something in endgame to taint his jury appeal like the first time?

Tai hasn't been targeted because nobody sees him as a legitimate threat.
Debbie is viewed the same way, but she's actively cultivated such a perception whereas Tai is simply underestimated for the sake of being underestimated.

I guess Debbie just wanted to make sure, since the votes for Sierra and Aubry indicate that there were some people who really didn't know what was going on and she couldn't be absolutely certain the vote would go her way.
Some people have tried to target Tai. I think he's been lucky so far that people just assume he has an idol and that so far there have been other people who were deemed to be bigger threats. Up until the merge, he hadn't really pulled off any super-impressive feats... but eventually the individual immunity winners do become targets.
As for Debbie, I don't foresee her winning this. She might make the final four, but she's cultivated this image of "Crazy Debbie" and some people might not see that as a good reason to award her $1 million.
At least she doesn't seem to brag so much this time.

Oh, if she gets to the final 3, she'll brag, and much of it will be for things she didn't do. That's why I can't imagine her winning any jury votes unless two other people piss everyone of and she manages to get to the end with both of them.
I have no clue who is going to win though. Cirie seems positioned well. Brad seems plausible, Andrea seems plausible. Tai might be able to pull off the challenge monster game well enough to get to the finals.

I don't know what to make of that ridiculous notion that the last-placing team had that they could just take the elevator to the pit stop. They were doing so well until they decided to take a short cut.

Ozzy is basically a mimbo. Sure, he's a physical freak and adept at things like fishing - which he constantly points out, yawn - but the guy has zero social game, zero personality and zero understanding of interpersonal dynamics. Not even convinced the guy can count past 10. Definitely not a leader either.
So while he's undeniably great at challenges, I'd probably rate the guy as the most overrated Survivor player of all time.

This is an example of why you shouldn't have strangers paired up for the Amazing Race. Maybe four teams act like they can even stand each other, the rest are insufferably bitching at each other. Brooke & Scott, Liz & Michael and Vanck & Ashton all need to go away. Any of the other four are fine though Matt & Redmand are a bit too broey. They're my 4th preference to win. I'd be happy with any of the other 3.
That was one hell of a slow fast-forward. Why didn't they just have them skydive out of the first helicopter?
Not to mention they had the express pass. They could have easily blown past this episode and got first. Sucks, especially since this was the last episode they could have used it.
As much as they argue, I'm actually rooting for Vanck and Ashton, I find their dynamic fascinating and I'd like to think they aren't always like that, it's just the way the show is cut together.
Also, I called it being a non-elimination leg the second it started, only because we hadn't had one yet.
I think because they wanted the skydiving aspect to be a surprise and they were hoping one of the two racers who took the fast forward would be deadly terrified of heights. If they could tell there was skydiving in the first helicopter they could have quit there and not lost anything, this way they were already committed. I agree, lame.
They wouldn't have had to tell them until they were already committed to the fast-forward, surely? This "fast-forward" should have been named "slow-forward." It took the whole damn episode.
Opening the envelope doesn't commit you to the fast forward. In a roadblock you can't switch people once you choose but fast forwards have always worked like detours where you can switch any time. Just after the fist helicopter ride switching would be suicide with time already spent. They would still have the right to back out just they'd be hours behind and basically screwed.
I have to disagree with that. I think his alliance opportunities are limited by everyone's fear of his challenge expertise. We don't see him make big social moves because the target is forever tattooed to his back and he's automatically top of the threat list.

I'd have been happy with either Andrea or Michaela going. Andrea actually is a challenge threat, and Michaela is just obnoxious. If I were among the ones who didn't get the reward, I'd be put out by her sitting in tribal council, stuffing her face with coconut.

Michaela didn't even get to compete for the reward (let alone get to participate in the picnic). Personally, I think she's great. She knows she's not going to win, and all the tribal nonsense has basically become her daytime tv show. Her expressions are hilarious, particularly when the real obnoxious people are voted out or she hears others talking about how much suffering they're going through on Survivor.
She had first crack at the secret advantage, though, and completely missed it. Yes, I know she didn't know it was there, but she was so busy cheering, being huffy, rolling her eyes, and posing, that she was actually rather oblivious to her closer surroundings.
