Surely something good happened to you today

This actually happened yesterday but I got to watch an awesome Liverpool match (against Chelsea). I could just feel the energy coming off the screen. I have now officially added Anfield to my bucket list.

And I got to see Conor Bradley score his first Premier League goal! At age 20!

Day 3 of my new walking routine. I am SO out of shape that a brisk 30 min walk wears me out. I can go once down the street to the pond, around the pond, over to the mailbox and back up the street to home. I get pretty tired doing just that. But I plan to keep doing it. Maybe after a week or two, I'll be able to do two laps around the pond.

I got the Liverpool FC gear that I ordered (two T-shirts and a jacket). This stuff is WAY.FUCKING.COOL. Can't wait to wear it!

Because of the increased energy and gas prices in 2022 our government decided to freeze the rent prices of a house or apartment with an EPC of E and F, but increased the the EPC of D with 50% the rest goes up normally. Because that crisis is over, the government decided to unfreeze the rent prices.

I have EPC D, so I'm worried what might happen in April when my contract will be renewed, how much should I pay? I took the liberty to change providers and now I save 45€, and I got my disability reevaluated to get more points to get more money.

It worked, but I don't know yet how much more I'll get. And then I saw a newspaper article that my rent will increase more than normally on top of the increased rent that would happen, so I'm crossing my fingers that won't be higher than the 45€ and that my extra money will be higher than 45€, I will keep you updated

After all the whinging about being away, I was able to buy savoury ducks (a kind of faggot) and tomato sausages (pork sausages with tomato or tomato powder in them), both of which I like and neither of which I can buy locally.

Found Junior's favorite (for now) cat food on Amazon. Spent the day doing some shopping and of course, now that Junior has found a new favorite food, Petsmart and my grocery store don't have it anymore. Found it on Amazon for a few cents cheaper AND free next-day shipping and unlike Chewy, I don't have to order a crap-ton at one time, either. A crazy-cat-lady score!

Sounds like you have the kind of luck my family has, it seems like every time we find food or something that we really like, they stop making it.
This happens to me too and seems to happen to a lot of people I know. These days, if I find something non-perishable that I really like (or is really comfortable whatever), i buy several just because I know it will not be there next time I want it.

It does make me wonder whether anyone actually likes the stuff that is sold in shops, or whether it's everyone being forced to buy stuff they don't really like because there are no alternatives.

In a funny coincidence, my wife and I had the 'MORE STAR TREK' channel on Pluto TV on, and it aired the ultimate love letter to fans at 11 p.m. last night... "TRIALS AND TRIBBLE-ATIONS". And because they are airing in (mostly) production order, "THE ASSIGNMENT" aired at midnight... Valentine's Day. Nothing says 'I love you' quite like desperately trying to free your spouse from pah-wraith possession.

Happy Valentine's Day, folks!
