Surely something good happened to you today

Decided on cleaning my PC as it crashed earlier. Got rid of the dust, but then it wouldn't start. So I took somewhere to get repaired. Also got a tip on cleaning the CPU (use a paint brush). Still thinking about getting some cooling system, besides the fan I have as my computer can get hot at times when rendering images.

I use a paintbrush and vacume cleaner to clean the innards of my pc as it’s perfect to lightly dust the system board capacitors. My current pc doesn’t seem to accumulate dust on the fans like my old VAIO did which I cleaned every six months. I have no doubt that housekeeping prolonged its life.

A paintbrush is something I plan on getting soon. Must make sure to more regular maintenance.

Not today, technically, but the day before yesterday. My sister gave me this for Christmas--the best gift ever: a mug with Junior's picture on it.

I've spilt my bike ride into morning and afternoon/evening bike rides over the last week, and I've been seeing tons of horses, both in yards and with people riding and walking them out on the street. I even finally got to meet my first donkey on Saturday when I ran into some people out walking the donkey, a old full size horse and a mini horse.
And tonight one of my favorite horses who I've been visiting since I first started my bikes snorted in my face this evening. I'm talking a full on point blank, double nostril, face soaking snort.
And apparently the safety vest I wear must taste pretty good, because almost every horse who can get their mouth on it has tried to eat it.

Cold, crisp and sunny here so walked along the canal at 8am this morning. A thin skin of ice on the water, lots of robin activity and a skein of geese creaking overhead.

The boatyard has been renovating a narrowboat called "Enterprise" for the last couple of years. I see the Enterprise in its dirty grey paint has disappeared and, strangely, a boat of the same design but in nice new blue livery has appeared. Looks to me like a case of rebadging... The new name could be from a different franchise but I suspect it's called after a tree.
