Been sick as HELL all week but today I finally got my Amoxicillin.
I hope it kicks the shit out of this infection because everything above the waist just hurts like hell.

Wow, that sounds awful. I hope the antibiotic turns things around quickly, and you're feeling more like yourself soon.
I've now had my new doggo, Dave, for a full week, and it's been awesome !
He's just such a happy, goofy floof now, adapting to his new life here, gaining weight slowly per the vet's careful instructions - especially since he no longer has dental issues - and he loves going for long hikes, which we do every day...
And he fit in with my other dogs immediately - we'd had two meet-n-greets to make sure they would before the adoption was approved - so he's part of the pack now. They roam and play and tussle and sleep in a big pile, and my heart is just so happy for him.
He's a good boy

Thank you. Today is the first day since Monday that I've been well enough to actually put on street clothes. I've been living in pjs this whole week. Still feel like hell but I can tell I'm getting better already. Luckily, I work from home, so I'll work my shift tomorrow and see how it goes. Amoxicillin is my new best friend.
And next time I'm at the pharmacy, I'm getting the flu shot.

Today, Mrs. Claus made sure a local children's hospital just received several large boxes of toys for some very wonderful little girls and boys.

A customer at my store just walks up to me and, right out of the blue, hands me a Christmas card. Is that weird, or what?

My back has been bothering me for several days now and I finally got some Doan's pills, didn't know they still made them. My grandparents and parents used to take them. But they really work! I think I over did it with all the baking and activities this year, but had so many to make up for from last year. I didn't get to see my mom for 18 months because of covid, so now Got to spend Christmas Eve with her. It was so great, just not fun to be in pain with the back. It is so cold and damp and waiting for the snow that is to come, so that does not help either.
