At home, with little to do, so I'm playing with the cat and sitting around in my pajamas. Bored out of my mind, but then again, nothing bad has happened, so I'll count that as a good thing.
Found out my washing machine wasn't busted after all. Just unplugged...
The A/C repair guy came over and said that the A/C just needed a little Freon, so it didn't need any repairs. That gives us enough time to save up to get a new one--one that doesn't need Freon.
I won a game of Minesweeper.
I went to a fancy steakhouse with my dad today (Outdoor seating) for the first time since COVID started.

Finally managed to get my new phone to save images. My old image-hosting site that I haven't used in about a year is still up and running, so I cleaned out old stuff to make room for new.
About 3 weeks ago, I saw one of these gals (males are not as colorful) among wildflowers outside our bedroom windows. It was from only about 3 feet away and for 20 seconds or more. Absolutely no mistake. That brilliant cobalt blue is gorgeous! These blue carpenter bees are not supposed to be here in the U.S. so I contacted the entomology department of Cornell University and also the New York State Department of Agriculture. Didn't receive a reply from either one. Whatever. Many things move around the globe via container ships. If they want to live in denial, that's their business.

Well.....yet another thing that happened this year that I never saw coming:
Out running errands today, in order to get things done before the storms hit, and I walked into a bank with a mask on.
I made sure not to make any sudden moves, just in case.

I won another game of Minesweeper.
Got some money as a late b-day gift from a friend. Used some for a Nintendo eshop card and am putting the rest towards a yearly laptop cleaning/checkup.
For 2020, that's a win!
