Surely something good happened to you today

You know most of the time I really can think of something good. But not today. I am worried about all the smoke in the air. I guess the only good thing, we still have to wear masks when going outside. Never thought I would be happy about wearing a mask!

Been feeling down..another birthday but can't see my Mom or even a friend....But hubby gave me a little "Supernatural" throw blanket -- it's small but good enough for a lap blanket while sitting on the couch. It has the anti-possession symbol on it, so Junior and I will be safe from demons while watching "Dr. Pol."

We might go out for dinner tonight , too, which will be nice.

I'm also amused that my tablet auto-fills "anti-possession symbol." ;)

Happy belated birthday!

Martians have landed and exchanged our chief chemist for a copy! I realized the switch by him knocking before entering my office (something the original never ever does). Quick! Call the Doctor!

Thanks, guys. It was kind of depressing at first but a friend sent several small joke gifts, and a few friends & family sent small gifts which were a nice little pick me up.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow --she'll be 87. I sent her a few puzzles; she had asked for some lately.

As for my something good for today....I didn't have anything bad happen. Just sitting around the house with Junior.

Woke up this morning and noticed that the PlayStation 5 preorders had gone live. A quick call to my nearest game retailer, that's out of town, revealed that there were only two available. I was so freaking lucky. There was only one left when my deposit was put down.

^ last quarantine day for you, if I am nost mistaken :)
I was sick during the weekend (no corona, just an inflamed nerve again) and the kids in my neighbourhood drew pictures and wrote letters and pushed them through under the door to cheer me up =)

Yeah, last day
Its not as if I go out a lot anyway, but it's nice to have the choice to do so
And for every person who sticks to quarantine rules, however inconvenient, there are probably just as many who don't
Selfish bastards, putting us all at risk

This may sound bad. But a good friend of mine that I have been worried about her living alone. She can't take care of herself but would not go into a care place. She is 87 and can't walk anymore or do much for herself. Well she decided to go into a care place and so far she is liking it. She has a nice roommate and she is around people her own age. She really missed that because most of her friends and older family are gone now. So I am happy she is okay and happy!

I didn't get dragged out of my house and publicly beaten, hung, guillotined, flogged, caned, or fed to lions.

i got to spend some time with my favorite son. We went shopping together for awhile and he makes a great beast of burden, carrying all the heavy stuff.
