I have been making homemade no sew masks out of scrap fabrics I have. And I found one that has cats on it. It will be fun to wear. Wearing the masks so far no fun.
What kind did you make? Chicken noodle and vegitable beef are my favorites.
Got out to get a haircut today. The staff wore masks and gloves, and had only three customers in at a time.

Went for a drive.
The base of the soup was ham, but I flung in assorted lentils, rice, carrot, onions and pasta.

As daft as it sounds, it was fucking wonderful
I have been going through things at the house, getting rid things and sorting so on. And I found some old books from when I was a kid. They were my mom's first. Didn't know I still had them. It was like finding some old friends. Some very old worn out friends, but still! 
I'm looking forward to watching the launch this afternoon.
Went for a drive and picked up a sandwich at Jimmy John's drive-thru. It's nice to get out of the house for a few minutes and go for a quiet drive, listening to the radio and watching the rain.

Last night, my city's downtown was enveloped in clouds of teargas amid a lot of chaos, but this morning there's a big cleanup effort underway too. It's great to see the community come together to stand against injustice while also coming together to heal some of the visible scars, acknowledging that the scars of injustice will take much longer, but one step at a time.
Picked up a shift for Monday. I'm glad. We need the money and I need something to do.
My wife and I are currently building our house ourselves. Yesterday, we put in the house wrap and installed our first door. Exhausted but glad its done.

WOW, that is quite a project; good for you! And yes, doors do indeed suck. For years, we have been trying to fix the problems caused by our craptastic builders, and the weekend before last was spent fixing the framing problems with the door to the garage. Hubby got it done, after two trips to the hardware store and much swearing.
