I decided to build a new garden shed all by myself. I have a lot of time on my hands since I decided to be almost completely retired and I think building a thing like that would be an interesting diversion. I'll wait till march to start the actual building since I don't know how winter would affect the masonry. For now, I'll limit myself to the theoretical part.

waking up was good yet I did not want to stop sleeping but thought I need to get up because... well once I was awake .. it was like .. damn that was a dumb reason even to think about to get up.. but now that I am up ... yeah now that I am awake and up.. mmmmm it is all good .. just really good no matter what I do it is all very good. yep.. all of it.. the tea the rain the things in my life all of it yep.. People somehow are all good too. this is the way it is..

good thing today has not happened yet but will in 90 mins: going home early and eating my last slice of Agnes-Bernauer-Torte. That's a delicious cake made from alternating layers of wafer-thin hazelnut-meringue and mocca-flavoured buttercream. A gazillion calories and worth every one of them!

Yesterday, one of my cats laid on my lap facing me to get rubs. She gazed into my eyes almost the entire time.

Last week I started a volunteer job so I can gain some work experience and hopefully get a paying job in the next few months.

I got an almost fitting anorak today YAY! I used to have one 5 sizes too large (literally, not figuratively!) because our previous office manager bought only men sizes and didn't take into account that male and female size numbers are not identical. His successor ordered female sizes for the new colleagues but didn't tell us oldtimers so that we got stuck with the oversized old ones. But now a few colleague have changed to a different office and so today I was able to swap my oversized male anorak for a female one that fits around the chest and has only slightly too long sleeves =) I propably still don't look respectable in my official gear but at least I don't look like a kid playing with is dad's coat anymore.

Today was a surprisingly good day, after the overall disaster that was yesterday. Talk about polar opposites! This is probably the best mood I've been in in weeks. (It might be due to all the readily available sugar... )
