Surely something good happened to you today

I would love to start biking again. My bike was my main mode of transportation until I got my license at 16 and I haven't been on one, since. Shame. I used to love it and I really could use that exercise!

I'm just afraid my calves will end up like the guy on that Liberty Mutual commercial again.

It’s scaring me rotten. I have an incredibly cushy job, or would, if I was unsusceptible to the bullshit and bollocks that everyone else seems happy with.

I can’t live that way anymore.

Of course, it is. If it wasn't, you'd be demonstrating how you don't care. But you do.

I'll tell you that working for yourself, freelancing, can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. It can be a little scary at times when there isn't much work coming in, but in the long run, it's more than worth it.

Thank you. Those words are a big help.

Just keep in mind that unless you hit with an entirely original idea that no one can resist, it may be slow-going for a while. I don't say that to discourage you in the slightest. I just don't want to see you give up if you don't become the most popular person in your field right away.

Got some walking done today (Pokemon Go) and also got to stop at a Poke Stop and got a gift, some items. Finished up an in game research task of 5 nice throws and then got a new piece of research (power up a Pokemon 5 times -- I'm glad it's an easy task as it's nearing the end of the month).

I know. I read a Churchill quote on LinkedIn today. Success is failing again and again and again, and not losing enthusiasm. Or something like that.

My once-again-favorite son brought me a Butterfinger drumstick! It has Butterfinger flavored ice cream with a fudge core, in a chocolate coated cone. My taste buds are singing his praises.
Gonna hafta pedal my bike for an hour, but it's definitely worth it.

I have a full time job but I do a little freelancing on the side to help cover the bills. It is rewarding and frustrating.
