It is indeed! I got a big step forward today with the Christmas tree quilt I've always wanted to copy. Only 2 pattern rows left to do on the main panel. The braid-pattern border will take some time, though. Nevertheless, It should be finished by Christmas. The filling will be extra thick since my room at my parents is freezing. No cold feet this year, YAY! =)^ It's good to embrace the small pleasures of life!
Got some grocery shopping done and got some walking done at the same time. 
Got my blood pressure down ten pts from 6 months ago.

My doc just called to ask whether I'd mind coming 3 hours earlier for my checkup today. Cool! Now I'll be back before dark. It's not that I fear darkness but atm it gets unpleasantly cold as soon as the sun has set.

I had a nice walk after work.
I spent time with the kids doing something we all enjoy, and I indulged in some proper nostalgia.
I also demonstrated a new process at work that will save masses of time for the staff, and end a major ball ache. Go me!

Was able to do some walking today, granted in the snow... but thankfully it's not that deep. And tomorrow is the start of the 3 day Community weekend in Pokemon Go. So onto some shiny Pokemon hunting!

While this may seem like a negative, I was not able to sell what I wanted to sell in time for it to have had its maximum benefit, but, as they say, necessity is the mother of invention, right?
I believe I've figured out the most economical way of creating what I'd like to create. I've been going over and over and over in my head on how I could achieve what I'm looking to achieve, but I believe I finally have it, and it will take a LOT less time to achieve than the second-to-last idea I had, though it could mean more ongoing labor.
A little work never hurt anyone, right? (in the broadest sense)
And while I get to achieve one of my goals and desires, as well as a possible income, it will make a lot of other people very, very happy, as well.

Holy shit guys... guess what popped up in my yard in Pokemon Go! A shiny Dratini! Caught him and named him Maxwell. A perfect end to a good night. Just went back on to see how much the game counted my steps and he showed up out of the blue. Second shiny I got today, apart from the Charmander I got earlier.

I had a twatting twat of twatttety twatty day today, and tomorrow is shaping up to be even twattier. But, this evening, Boy the elder helped me cook, did everything I asked of him, he sampled the ingredients and told me how they tasted, and made notes in his journal. Recipe 1, of many more to come i hope.
Boy the younger reacted with utter delight at the small gift of a plastic fork and a pipe cleaner I’d brought home for him. Exactly what he needed to make a new toy story 4 character.
