I was a bit worried. They get a little...animated. They also get depressed when their team loses in the playoffs or Superbowl.

I slept through most of the game.

I didn’t hit the nobhead cyclist that was riding straight at me, on the wrong side of the road, in the dark, wearing black, and no lights. That was good.

I saw Orion.
It generally lifts my mood, at least temporarily, when I see Orion.
I wish it was viewable in the Summer, too, but I'm perfectly happy that Winter is when I see it.

Same here When I was a child, I used it as a calendar: when Orion is rising and the Big Dipper looks like it's about to drive down our chimney it's only a few days till Christmas

Good thing today: the day started with a total lunar ecclipse. And it was a perfectly clear night. (Usually, when something interesting happens in the sky, there's rain, fog, a blizzard or all three at once.)

Watched the eclipse last night; that was cool. Watched Counterpart this morning and it was AWESOME. Hubby and I are both home, because of the holiday, enjoying some peace and quiet.

Today. I finally placed an order for fibre broadband, about thirty times faster than current copper line, and it cuts the cost of my streaming telly. BT, be gone you money grabbing a scroat.

Also, got an email for an offer of work. Nice to know I have a skill in demand.

I finally made plans to visit a really quirky second-hand/thrift store in the city tomorrow. It's been nearly four years since I discovered it but never managed to visit. There were always other plans getting in the way.

The store seems like an Alladin's cave of music equipment, vinyl, dvds, retro video games, books and other rare items. I'm kinda excited to check it out.

There’s a bric a brack shop in my town that sells all kinds of wonderful nonsense. I bought a few of my Alan Parsons Project vinyls there.

It maybe time to pay it another visit. It’s been a very long time.
