Surely something good happened to you today

Thanks guys! I've worn glasses, (contacts for a short time), since I was in 4th grade. It's weird now, I keep reaching up to adjust or remove my glasses but they're not there. Happy weird, though.
I can't even imagine how awesome that feeling must be. I've had to wear glasses since I was very young, too. I wear contacts when at the office, but there is always a chance something can occur that makes me end up losing a lens. (Random dirt or eyelash gets in, you rub the eye, and it pops out. Doesn't happen much, but I am acutely aware of it because it has happened enough times.) I can never do laser due to my vision being so bad that it can never make it to where I won't need glasses... it'll just make it so my eyes only need a less strong pair of glasses/contacts. So it's not worth doing a procedure.

So I'm really glad when someone has that kind of victory over bad eyes. Enjoy them!

I was out and about today and I realized my car had a flat tire, so I went to my dealership to have them fix it. As they were wrapping up, I realized I didn't have a credit card with me - I rarely carry one unless I know I'll need it - so I told them I'd have to go home to get one (their system doesn't take Apple Pay).

They told me don't worry, our internet is down, so it's on the house.

Very lucky. That is VERY uncharacteristically generous of a dealership.

you car dealership seems to be a bunch of morons - ever heard of an invoice (and 14 days to pay it)? better than handing out freebees (for the dealer that is)

I had to drive a long distance across town and managed to only hit green lights. PLUS, on the return trip, I happened to see cars ahead of me making quick turns into a shopping center and managed to follow them, thus avoiding a huge wreck at the next intersection. I have used up all my good luck through the next month, at the very least.
