Spoilers Supernatural - Season 12

The problem with Lucifer being in other hosts is that it just makes me miss Mark Pellegrino all the more.
Amen there is only one Lucifer and that is Mark Pellegrino.

Sadly the whole Mens of letters arc is pretty boring and hope it dont last all season. So far the whole season fills like filler.

I was really enjoying the old school story of the week episode, until the ending. So tired of this show slaughtering every supporting character ever..... it makes the episode pointless to rewatch and ultimately unsatisfying. Spend the entire episode saving her just to have her shot execution style for no reason at the end..... so lame.

You really didn't see the reason for that ending?

They're setting up this super enforcer killing machine for the British Men of Letters... who will stop Dean and Sam by knocking them out and poorly tying them to a chair so they can escape and kill him.

Surprisingly dull episode, considering the subject matter. Was hoping to see the Golem again. :(

Some good lines, though. "I killed Hitler. I think that deserves some pie. Did I mention I killed Hitler?"

...and it's already on Pintrest

Seriously. Necromancers, blood magic, the Golem, fucking Hiltler? And this is what we get. Very, very disappointing.

The only bright spot was Dean getting a big head over killing Hitler. But even that was pretty mediocre given how it went down.

Well, Golem and friend.
Indeed. We got Aaron but no Golem. So close. I wonder if the actor was unavailable or if he didn't work out behind the scenes, despite how good that episode was. You'd think they'd want to bring those guys back as much as possible. I'd love to see them in their own spinoff.

I'm surprised at the lukewarm reaction to this episode. I've actually heard a few other negative things about it around the Net, but I actually liked it a lot. It was certainly amazingly well timed, and Hitler's mention of using Twitter was very cutting.

As for killing Hitler, I'm all for that. They could make the theme of the spin-off that Hitler is reincarnated and killed every week. I'd watch that. :rommie:

And this week's female guest star was excellent. And I was so relieved that she didn't get executed in an epilogue. I was bracing myself for it

On a related note, the Comcast On Demand guide for this episode said that the boys had to stop Nazi necromancers from "resurrecting the Furor." What, he can spell necromancer, but he can't spell Fuhrer? :rommie:

I want the Winchesters to do a time travel episode in 2017 where they travel back 10 years in time to 2007 and tell folks that the Host of the Celebrity Apprentice is now President.

I wouldn't say people (in general) are being negative towards it. It just didn't live up to it's potential. A story with all those elements, and all we got was a pretty low-key episode with a bad Hitler impersonation (which can only really be rationalized if he had picked up some of the girl's traits for whatever reason)? Yeah, just... eh. It wasn't a bad episode, it just wasn't anywhere near as great as it should have been.

It'd just be a rehash/homage to Back to the Future with Reagan.
