Supernatural 6x21 &6x22 Two hour season finale tonight

Actually, it's two separate episodes airing tonight but the title line is too short. :bolian:

Episode 21 is titled "Let it Bleed." Episode 2 is, as I mistakenly posted two weeks ago, "The Man Who Knew Too Much." Airs from 7 to 9 central standard time. I'm looking forward. :)

Not really looking forward to it. I couldn't wait for the S1, S2, S4 finales(S4 was its best then the 2nd and 1st) but the last two I haven't been all that excited about. I think part of that is due to the writers not effectively building up anticipation over the last few episodes leading up to this event and secondly the thought of a seventh season doesn't really inspire given the fact S5 and especially S6 seemed like there was no reason for them to exist--that there isn't anything else to say and the show is still going because the CW needs it to prop up the network.

^ And now that that's out of the way, I'm looking forward to it. :techman:

Dorian, for next season do you think a single, season-long discussion thread might be better than a new thread for every episode? Those seem to be the trend nowadays.

I don't think I have any competition for viewing live this week which is kind of a relief. With all the different shows I view it would sometimes take me a whole week to digest my Friday recordings! :)

While I think last week was well-intentioned, I thought it kind of killed the pace, I'm hoping they end things out with an appropriate bang.

It's pre-empted here in Chicago for Cubs baseball.

I won't get to see these episodes until Sunday.

Oh my God! Castiel has completely lost it and he is more powerful and dangerous than ever on top of it. I thought he was going to explode with the number of souls inside him but instead it's worst. I would say he's another Lucifer but Lucifer never thought of himself as a god despite his many, many issues. I wonder what Sam, Dean, and Bobby are going to do. I wish we had more time to explore what Sam is like now that he remembers being soulless and rotting in the cage before the end. Hopefully, S7 will delve into it.

I must admit--I'm impressed. You've got huge ones, Sera Gamble. Clever, clever clever dropping hints about two unexpected deaths to get people worked up about Cas or Bobby dying.
