She's the head of the CW network. These soapy teen shows are her babies. She's the one who publicly declared that she "doesn't get it" when it comes to Supernatural's appeal. Not a lot of romance or rich teenagers hooking up.

She earned the wrath of the SPN fandom when she wanted to cancel it after season 2, when it had higher ratings than it does now, because it score highly in the network's target demo--18-34 year old females, believe it or not. All the Nielsen girls watch Grey's.
