Time for a new episode with a bit of levity after the brutally intense ride we took last week. What a time for my SATELLITE BOX TO GO ON THE BLINK!!!!!!! :scream: :scream: :scream: The CW signal locally is so bad that I can't pick it up without the satellite box. Not since the switchover anyway. So, unless it magically fixes itself in the next hour, Dorian will have to wait to catch the episode online. I'm not a happy camper.

God I hope it gets fixed, because its just wrong if I get to see the episode before you do.

The Ghostfacers are back. And all I can say is I finally cheated for about 3 minutes today and looked at spoilers (and I hope they are wrong).....(well at least one of them).

Hopefully we can hold a good part of last week's audience. With the utter collapse of Top Model and Smallville under larger then usual competition I am dreaming that we can actually be the number 1 show on the CW this week. Is it to much to ask for?

Well that wasn't what I was expecting at all. With the advance press implying this to be a comedy episode (which they do), I wasn't expecting basically a solid episode with them in character (just not their own).

With this being an identity episode it was very interesting that the roles were reversed. Sam was the one eager for his real life, the one who was pretty much a loner, who had a go nowhere job. Dean was the achiever, the Stanford guy, the one who resisted his true life.

While I was surprised by the episode, its quality was less then what I was hoping for. Sera is one of my favorite writers on the show (but especially for the truly depressing dramatic pieces), and this was good, but nothing that really stood out. Not counting Heaven & Hell (YUCK!!!) and to a degree I know What You Did Last Summer (Ewww, Jared you can do better. Just ask for volunteers you wont have trouble), this is closer in quality in my mind to the uneven Yellow Fever.

I do have to ask (since my affiliate never airs them) did we get previews for any new episodes or just for a rerun for next week (I think its a rerun)?

Oh and on a side note, Damn...Jared can fill out a Polo shirt.....

And I always get a kick out of the gay subtext, so when Dean thinks Sam is coming on to him, was awesome...

We did get a preview for a new episode next week.

I quite enjoyed this. I was expecting a one-off comedy ep before the final run of arc-heavy stuff, like usual.

at first i thought Loki was back messing with the Winchester Brothers, then I thought it was actually Satan messing with them in some form trying to make the point that he CAN.

I never thought it would be Castiel's supervisor, but that last scene was pretty chilling, yet motivational. I bet this theory is really far fetched, but is it possible that Dean could be a fallen angel himself? like Anna was, and just needs to realize this notion to succeed. He could have fallen as Dean was being born and well i dunno, more i think about it, sounds too much like on Angel with Jasmine being born thru Cordelia. And how he was sent to hell? Yeah I duno.. Hmm makes you wonder though.

I hate that idea.

With Anna her personality when she got her memories back changed to what it was as an angel. Basically that would mean the character as Dean is just a front. And I don't think I could stomach the show, if that was the case.

But as to what was causing their memories, I thought exactly the same. I thought first maybe the trickster, then a demon, and only with the touch to the forehead did I go oh its an angel.

Yeah you did miss some good gore, I especially liked the elevator and more specifically Sam's reaction to the Gore. That was awesome.
