Superman

What's general opinion on Grant Morrison's New 52 Action Comics run? I've had it on my Comixology account for a while and I was thinking about finally reading it.
The New 52 Action Comics was vastly better than the New 52 Superman series, which never really came together for me (while he was a genius artist, the late great George Perez was mostly an average writer, and the art itself on the Superman book was equally uninspired). It's been a little while since I reread the Action issues, but they were fresh and inventive and tried to do something new and interesting with Superman's early days.

This Superman film is colorful, has a camp edge and doesn't seem bogged down in the recent DCEU trend of murky films shot through a coffee filter and skimping on lighting. The movie might be great or it might not be very good, but the trailer gives me hope that an era of brighter, more cheerful and, honestly, more fun DC movies is here.

Besides, even if one doesn't like the trailer, keep in mind: trailers are often not what the actual film is like.

I bring it up fairly often in conversations like this, but the theatrical trailer for the last Trek movie sucked. Like, "watch this and your I.Q. will drop ten points by the 25-second mark" sucked. But the film itself was breezy, TOS-like fun with tons of good character moments and some great guest stars.

That looks focused??? It has 100 different characters, giant monsters, excess superheroes, space ships, robots, Lex Luthor preening....it looks like a 6 year old boy dumped out his toy chest and started mashing crap together willy nilly.

But...okay.
So, like Joss Whedon's 'Justice League', Zack Synder's 'Justice League', all four 'Avengers' movies, 'Captain America: Civil War', 'Guardians of the Galaxy', 'Suicide Squad', 'The Suicide Squad', 'Spider Man: No Way Home', etc.?

Yeah, the trailers for this are pretty your standard action/superhero trailers.

Just to clarify for my own understanding, by last Trek movie, I'm assuming you mean Beyond, and not Section 31?
