Superman

I haven't been here in a while, but the trailer for the movie got released while I was gone.

I loved every second. I almost cried when I saw Krypto. I'm a big fan of Gunn, I think he's going to give us his best work time. Between it and Fantastic Four, comic book movie fans are going to be eating this summer.

We have a cross between a terrier and a schnauzer--so she basically looks like a tiny terrier. We've taken to calling Krypto our dog's "boyfriend". About 60% of the reason I'm looking forward to this movie is because of the dog. My wife is looking forward to also seeing Brosnahan as she is a huge fan of Mrs. Maisel.

I started watching Superman TAS, and I decided to just jump in where the first DVD set, which is how I watched the earlier episodes, ended so I started with Identity Crisis, the episode that introduces their take on Bizarro
I loved the opening, where they made you think we were following Superman, until he save Lois and Clark after they fall out of their car and go over the cliff. I knew it was a Bizarro story, but it didn't even occur to me we were following Bizarro, and not Superman until we saw him carrying Clark over the cliff.
I do like how they didn't have Bizarro as truly evil, with the danger coming from his attempts to be a hero going as he broke down.
I was a little surprised Lex was so quick to lay out his whole plan to Lois the way he did.
My only complaint with the episode is that was a little quieter and more low key than I expect from superhero story, but that might just be due to me coming into it with more modern expections.
