Superman

My only real complaint about the trailer is that Lois and Clark appear to already be a couple. I think it would nice to have their relationship develop over the series, with the first movie more akin to the pre-Crisis/TAS version and a wedding in the third.

She's seen snogging him as both Clark and Superman, so apparently she knows the secret, or at least finds out during the course of the film.

Unless she doesn't know, and she's just into both of them? As Cat Grant put it on Supergirl, "that's modern!"

Meh. The only thing that teaser made me feel was annoyance that they are relying on the 78 theme for nostalgia baiting.

I don't think I'm the target audience for this project.

Still, glad to see that people are into it, even if I'm not. DC needs a win.

She knows. More questions answered by James Gunn here during the set visit

Gunn continued that Lois also "knows who Superman is." In addition to throwing us right into the action, and with these characters established in this world, it's also exciting that Gunn seems to be moving past the dynamic of whether Lois will find out Superman's true identity or not and focusing more on the deeper relationship details of Lois and Clark.

It obviously didn't give us any idea what the story will be, but I really like the look and tone of the trailer.
I'm fine with this starting up with Lois knowing he's Superman, we've gotten plenty of stories where she doesn't.

It's a teaser that reintroduces Superman under James Gunn's leadership. It seemed appropriate to use the theme. I'm looking forward to the actual trailer where we might actually get more dialogue.

nostalgia baiting
It's a multimedia entertainment property that's been around for almost nine decades. How can it not rely, at least in part, on affection for the familiar?

The trick, as always with long-running franchises, is to gratify the audience's love for what has come before while also making it feel fresh and new and exciting. There's nothing in the trailer to suggest Gunn won't achieve that.

That article appeared to misrepresent the tone of what Gunn said. Another article from the same set visit made it clear Gunn was still playing it coy. Apparently, the full quote was something to the effect of, "We'll see, won't we? She knows who Superman is."
