Superman (casting, rumors, pix till release)

@SpaceTherapist...yah that was on Ain't It Cool News who reported it was on ebay along with some kind of supposed Kent farm merchandise you could buy. I didn't see it anywhere else so I didn't bother to post it. Cavil kind of looks like Welling in the suit in that pic.

I liked him better in the half naked pictures, he was so hot, rugged and awesome.:adore:
This picture is actually an argument against the Superman suit, he looks kinda boring. Imagine Superman in the suit landing in front of you or a Superman who looked like this:

Even if you're not sexually attracted to men, I'm pretty sure the suited version wouldn't be as impressive. One is a Superman, the other just a Superdudeinaskintightsuit. If you want me to think Superman in his costume is awesome, don't show me a version that's a million times better.

At least I didn't think the pic was real this time. I think anyone who would purchase a piece of wood thinking it was from a movie set is nuts.
 
Funny how I haven't see the Hot Toys press release yet....ebay isn't really the best place to be reporting news from LOL. This is probably someone's custom they're trying to sell. That being said that does look pretty sweet.

I agree. I didn't think this was an official release but I came across it and thought people here would also think it is cool.

Good quality whoever made it.
 
This makes me warm up to it even more, in that I'm getting a better angle on the artistic compositional aspects. Not that I really had a major problem with "it" to begin with.

Chloe was pretty much the gung-ho reporter/Lois Lane stand-in in Smallville, when the real Lois Lane appeared and as more superheroes came into the scene on the show she took on more of an Oracle role and as Clark's confidant in the growth of his superpowers.
 
^ Michael Shannon is becoming this movie's equivalent of his namesake from the Batman series, Mr Caine; the man you can count on to blab something about the movie, even if everyone else is shrouding it in secrecy. Though admittedly he didn't give too much away in that interview.
 
^ I was just thinking that. The movie's spokes person it would seem :) Or Gary Oldman who has done a bit of talking about the trilogy over the years.
 
That's true. Zod speaks! Someone should make some kind of segment on a blog or comic site called that where you get Michael Shannon to share his opinion every so often until the release of the movie about his experience filming.
