Maybe it's the lighting, but Supes looks pretty dopey in that pic. Indeed he doesn't look much like Superman there, not to me anyway. I suppose he'll look better in the film.

Not too sure about the over-dyed hair. It looks purple. I assume it will look better on screen.
As for the S-curl... they force that too much. It looked ridiculous on baby Routh. Chris Reeves's hair took to it naturally. If it isn't there, they shouldn't force it.

Not surprising that Lana and Pete have been cast as it would seem that a portion of the film takes place in Smallville. We'll probably get some kind of flashback scene to Clark's youth. I'm glad they're in the film. I am getting a small "Superman For All Seasons" vibe from this film along with "Superman Birthright" and "Superman Secret Origin'.
