Superman (casting, rumors, pix till release)

The real question is who should play Steve Lombard? John Goodman is the obvious choice, but I'm willing to entertain other suggestions.
Googled Steve Lombard...=John Goodman???? From the Google Images, I can definitely get on board with Bradley Cooper for this part. Seth Rogan, actually might work too, "Looks-wise"

NOTE: I have no knowledge of the character's personality, so can't vouch for their ability to act the part.

Who the hell would be looking at the headboard??????
Well any straight man who thought about how she'd look against it?

Re-arrange that scene with Ben Browder or Ryan Reynolds as Jessica Alba, and I can tell you, I'd be studying every part of that frame and imagining different positions against it
You have looked into the eyes of Jessica Alba, you are now straight.:p

He showed up in the 70s as a jock turned sportscaster. Back then drawn as a goodlooking guy but kind of dumb. Sort of a Sam Malone ( Ted Danson on Cheers) type. Later versions had him as a fatter and cruder ex-jock type.

I was just thinking someone who's big and beefy and can do affably mean (e.g., Big Lebowski), although looking at a few dudes, we could possibly do better. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Vince Vaughn have been floated. Yeah, I could see it.

So Jor-El is going to get in a big throwdown with Zod? Wow, they're not kidding about this being a more action-packed Superman movie.

Jor-el and Zod in a fight..pretty cool! I think we can say for certain this movie will be very different!

Well if you're going to hire Russell Crowe to play Jor-El, you might as well have him fight somebody I guess. :)

Are they sure it was a scene in the movie? Or did Crowe just start wailing on Michael Shannon while in costume and Snyder just decided to film it?

/tired joke
