Superman (casting, rumors, pix till release)

^Are you having problems? That's the second double post I've seen by you in the last 15 minutes!

It's Amy Adams.

Why are we complaining?

Thanks. I was wondering who that was in Jetfire's avatar.

I think this is a better example of the short hair.

I think it looks pretty good but I wouldn't want to see Adams with that hairstyle in the movie.

You're looking at her hair?

And yes, that image is from John Byrne's The Man of Steel Superman reboot from 1986.

I deleted the double post, but I don't know what you mean about the last fifteen minutes. That was only post I'd made today.

I realize that now. The other one was from a few days ago in QSF. I just happened to see it just before I came into this thread.

Well, I initially started out looking at her hair. ;)

I was specifically looking for an image of Lois from The Man of Steel because that's the series that got me reading Superman back in the day. It's still a great piece of work to this day. I always thought the way Byrne handled Superman's introduction to the world was pretty cool. The scene from Superman Returns when he saves the crashing plane actually reminds me of it quite a bit.

Intentionally so, I believe. And I think Lois & Clark also emulated it, having Superman debut by saving a space shuttle that Lois was aboard.

So that's how they did it! To this day I have never seen the pilot episode even though I think I've seen every other episode.

^Good grief, your ageism is ridiculous. The idea that people in their 40s are anywhere near old is an antiquated notion in this day and age.
