I think it's more about trying to be original than it is about "hiding" that it's a sequel.I'm so over this need by the studios to give every sequel a different title. Everyone already realizes it's a sequel; you're not fooling anybody! Lol
And numeric sequels only became common from the mid-1970s.Besides, numeric sequels are an oddity of film. Other forms of fiction (generally) don't use them.
So, on to Whatever-They-Call-The-Second-Superman-Film.
Probably Man Of Steel Something-Or-Other; Nolan shed "Batman" after the first of those movies but they've already done away with Superman so no problemo.
