Going by the direction the "S" is facing, that movie must involve Bizarro....

So, Goyer says that the open cryochamber that's shown in the Kryptonian colonial craft wasn't accidental...
That kinda works, although I'd be perfectly fine with just Man of Steel II.
I'm so over this need by the studios to give every sequel a different title. Everyone already realizes it's a sequel; you're not fooling anybody! Lol

Besides, numeric sequels are an oddity of film. Other forms of fiction (generally) don't use them.
I think it's more about trying to be original than it is about "hiding" that it's a sequel.

That's an awesome fan poster. I could see Chloe Moretz as Kara, a younger Kara anyway.
And numeric sequels only became common from the mid-1970s.

I joked in the grading thread that the capsule had Kara in it, then I read this...

The Prequel tie in comic plays fast and light with the mythos, but it works with the new reality of Superman.
