As long as it's not Shia Labeouf...Although he would probably do a really good job.
Anton Yelchin as Jimmy.
If any other Planet staff are added I think Jimmy Olsen will be played by someone unknown. Much like Sam Hungtington in "Superman Returns" I had no idea who he was before SR.
She's 36, but doesn't look like it at all! After she was announced, Adams as Lois was perfect casting (at least judging by the past few things I've seen her in).
I dunno. I think all the actresses who've played Lois have been very attractive. Margot Kidder might be the weakest link for me, but she wasn't ugly by any stretch of the means.
And, yes, I was parodying the few, much earlier, comments on how people were complaining that Adams was a hag. Yes, it didn't make sense then, and it still doesn't.
In these pics I just don't see her as Lois Lane.
I'm assuming your joking, but I'd actually be okay with that.
I'm sure they tried darker hair on Adams, but probably felt it just didn't suit her as well.
Unless that photo was taken before she even shot her scenes. That's the trouble with random out of context set photos.
Yeah I am. I was just hoping to see the internet implode.
Massive spoiler in link!! don't click if you don't want to know.

Spoiler picture? Lana Lang is in this movie too?
Regarding the spoiler...that has been heavily speculated and expected to some degree. The more interesting thing to me is the other character that is in that link.
If Synder puts Lana in this movie, I'll nuke his house.
Um...what is wrong with Lana other than the way she was portrayed in "Smallville"?
Unsure if serious. Lana Lang is important to the psychological and sexual development of our young hero, and a fun psychotic in her own right according to the old Superman books I've read.
Anyway, someone told me this was Zod-driven? You'd have to do a radically different take for that not to seem stale.
^ You hit it on the head about Lana.
Just came across this...the article links comicbookmovies so take it for what it is worth for now:
I'm still going with the rebuttable presumption that Zod sucks, but the casting for this film's minor roles is fucking awesome.
Indeed, I'd go as far as to say that Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as the Kents is inspired.
Also looking forward to Jor-El's fightin' round the world.
Michael Shannon is an impressive casting choice for Zod. It is going to be interesting to see how they write him in this movie since the comics have retconned Zod into the Donner version during Geoff Johns Action Comics run.
