^ Nobody's favorite example, I realize, but certainly Kate Bosworth's Lois had to be much older than she looked or than Bosworth's actual age (22 when she shot the film).

Bosworth is in her thirties now. Maybe she'll get the part. ;)

Her new hairstyle reminds me a bit of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. Which is weird for the sister of Kara Danvers.

OK, I just didn't remembered those kind of ribbed parts on the arms.

She'd have to use her heat vision to do that, probably. Which raises questions about how Superman cuts his hair so short. A room full of mirrors?

    Blue kryptonite only affects Bizarros.

That's not exactly true. In Kryptonians, it reverses the effects of red kryptonite. In conjunction with red, gold, and green kryptonite, it was one of the ingredients in the booth that created Superman-Red and Superman-Blue in that original "imaginary story."

Wasn't there a story where Superman used his heat vision reflected off a mirror to shave his face? Maybe they do the same thing with hair on other parts of their bodies.

Yes, John Byrne's The Man of Steel in 1986 (although it wasn't a mirror, but a polished piece of the hull of Kal-El's rocket, since a regular mirror could never survive Superman's heat vision). That's what I was alluding to. But it would be a lot more complicated to fire heat vision at the back of your own head or neck. I guess Clark and Kara could cut each other's hair, but what did Clark do before Kara came to Earth?

I thought that blue kryptonite strips the Kryptonians of their power, at least it did in Smallville

Superman let her win. He’s a gentleman after all. :)

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
One of my favourite "Lois Lane" quotes is "Do you know how disgusting it is to wake up to the smell of burnt hair every morning?"

(Lois was actually the Parasite in disguise for weeks.).

That's unique to Smallville. Normally it's gold kryptonite that takes away a Kryptonian's powers permanently.
