Considering that the bulk of the script for that movie was written by a couple of big TNG fans, I imagine that the "Cardassian Sunrise" (not Sunset - ha, ninja'd) was a deliberate choice — possibly in part an allusion to the beverage first shown in "Conundrum" (in the same way that the Samarian Sunset was itself a 24th-c. analogue of the 20th-century Tequila Sunrise) — rather than the result of any confusion.Do you think the "Cardassian" Sunset mentioned in NuTrek 1 was confused with the Samarian Sunset that was established in TNG and DS9?
