Sugar will, however, contribute to tooth decay. You have been warned!
So what your solution would be? Eat only proteins and fats? Because that's healthy. You're wriggling, BCI. You said sugar causes cancer, not feeds it or weakens the immune system. Defend your position that sugar causes cancer or admit your first statement was bullocks.
Sugar causes cancer. This is my conclusion based on what I have read in books. I cited two examples that I see as supporting my conclusion.
Please refute these very severe examples, and I might change my conclusion.
Sugar is an energy food and plays an important part in producing energy for the Human Body. Infact as far as I am aware sugar is THE most effective 'food' for giving you that extra boost of power.
Sugar causes cancer, destroys bones and makes people hyperactive. There's nothing good about it.
Don't forget obesity and diabetes and all the other good stuff.
Here is one link about sugar and cancer. It does not say sugar causes cancer. It does say that that lots of sugar in the bloods happens together with a higher risk for cancer. Not good enough for you, but good enough for me.

I just farted and there's hurricane winds in Outer Botswana. Did my flatulence cause the storm?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you...r-diet--introducing-healthy-new-way-life.htmlCancer feeds on sugar. The German biologist Otto Heinrich Warburg won a Nobel Prize for his discovery that the metabolism of malignant tumours is largely dependent on glucose consumption. Insulin production triggers inflammation. Those who eat low-sugar Asian diets tend to have five to ten times fewer hormonally driven cancers than those with diets high in sugar and refined foods. People who want to protect themselves from cancer should reduce their consumption of processed sugar and bleached flour. That means getting used to drinking coffee without sugar, avoiding sugary snacks between meals and cutting down on puddings.
Would mixing sugar in with Petroleum create an effective fuel? because the Petroleum would create a flame hot enough to burn the sugar.
Is Ethanol cleaner than burning Petroleum?
What is more cost effective, growing sugar beet/cane and turning it into Ethanol or growing other crops to create Biodiesel? and what's the difference?

Those links don't answer my specific questions and reading those articles can't generate discussion.
The problem is that you said that sugar causes cancer, when in fact your evidence is only a link. That is not the same as cause. Let's say that researchers find that people with cancer or people who will get cancer later eat more sugar. That is a link, and you would then say that sugar causes cancer. That link would also be found if people with cancer had a craving for sugar and ate more sugar. Or, perhaps a particular mutation that increased the likelihood of cancer also caused a craving for sugar. In that case, sugar does not cause cancer, but cancer causes sugar, or something else is the cause of both. If either of the other are true, then avoiding sugar so that you don't get cancer only results in unfulfilled cravings and misery, and no reduced risk of cancer.Splitting hairs over the word "cause" does not change the fundamentals: sugar (the refined white variety used for cake, soft drinks, candy, also called glucose on the labels) is one of the worst possible choices of food. It is directly linked to several serious and lethal diseases, among them diabetes and cancer. As little as possible is how to treat it.
