I was going to see it at the dollar show for $1.25. IMAX costs $7.50. Go cheap and I miss cut scenes and get snowy noise. Pay more, I get a better cut film, I assume. What to do, what to do.

Bill, if you have a choice - go to the Cinema Delux in Springdale for their IMAX - it was a much better experience for me than the AMC in Newport.

Unfortunately I'm just soooo much closer to the AMC in Newport. Saw Star Trek there on opening night, seems fitting to see it the last time there.

The only "IMAX" playing near me is one of those phony AMC "IMAX" theaters... of course the smaller the screen the better I guess. The blowup prints are pretty mediocre.

That's not true. I watched it at three different full-size IMAX screens and didn't notice any image issue.
