Stupid songs that get stuck in your head.

The LeAnn Rimes version of "How Do I Live" (or as she pronounces it, how do AH LEEEEEEEEVE). If this song does not make you want to punch innocent bystanders, you are not human.

(For some reason, radio stations never seemed to play the vastly superior Trisha Yearwood version.)
LeAnn Rimes is just plain difficult to understand most of the time.

I always thought it was just a little bit sicko that when LeAnn recorded her remake of "Unchained Melody" - one of the most romantic songs ever written - she was, what, 13 years old? Ew.

The most evil song ever. However, if you have a song stuck in your head, this will take care of that problem.

This one was playing EVERYWHERE when I last visited England. Made me want to punch someone. There's also the added bonus that it's a pretty crap song to boot.

In the interest of full disclosure, it was at #1 for seven weeks in 1961.

Lou never told us what happened to Mambos 1 through 4, did he? :shifty:

That whole album was like that. Oops..... OK we got given those at the concert, so I didn't pay for it.

But yeah she was like 13/14 when she recorded that album of songs that well she should not have.

And then there's the crazy frog.

Here's one version

I suppose it's not a bad song but 500 Miles is one that does that too and worse because it's just like two lines over and over because I don't know the others so it gets stuck in my head as "When I wake up I'm gonna be I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you...I would walk 500 miles and would etc...and when I wake up...

You wouldn't want to know then, that there's a musical based on the band's music...

But honestly, they actually have a very varied catalogue and the musical is a great one. Just so happens that song is their biggest hit internationally.

What an amusing thread idea, lol.

Enjoy this brain poison:

I had George Harrison's 'Got My Mind Set on You' going through my head for about three days. I love Harrison's work, but yeeesh!
