Stuff that make you wonder but not own thread worthy

Why did Locutus never get an eye implant? He got more and more stuff added throughout the episodes, but in his final stage with much of his face covered, the eye was still left out. Was an implant piece made and SPS refused to wear it? He may be the only drone we've seen with both eyes intact. In universe, he was probably gonna get it next and they got him out before it was finished :D
And in FC, his nightmare suggests he got his eye drilled out, but that apparently never happened in TNG

There have been some drones with both eyes intact, but very, very few.

Plus, he was supposed to be the Queen's equal, so maybe he got special treatment.

I'm going to assume due to his specific function of not being a traditional drone, he didn't need it, & that scene in First Contact is just a nightmare

You know... Worf was a real A-hole to those Klingons in Birthright 2

And the older I get......... the more I identify with him :guffaw:

The moment Picard was assimilated, the collective knew everything about humans Picard knew, including that if Locutus truly were to facilitate 'their introduction into your society' they'd have to see eye to eye with the humans.

Then again, Locutus and 'facilitating our introduction into your society' never made much sense in the first place. Just stomp them over and assimilate humanity, they'll make excellent drones.

Nothing did more harm to the ominous threat stigma of the Borg than claiming they needed a facilitator. Made them sound like a crap HR department

What ever happened to Geordi’s duplicate from “The Mind’s Eye”? He took Geordi’s place on Risa and was never heard from again. He’s important for questioning for involvement with the Romulan plot, but its never followed up on.

Perhaps that isn't even too far from the truth, their propagandistic qualities are somewhat lousy... the Borg Queen assurances in Unimatrix Zero that assimilation was fun, that it turned everyone into very good friends never quite convinced me either.

What happens on Risa Stays on Risa. That dude is in the wind

He and Thomas Riker get together once a month to commiserate. Picard is now invited to come too, since he's a Golem.

Not really something that makes you wonder but...

I was flipping through channels while eating lunch today and for a few minutes watched an episode of Murder, She Wrote entitled The Great Twain Robbery. I immediately recognized two actors who were on TNG.

Hallie Todd (Lal, from The Offspring)
James Sloyan (Adm Jarok, from The Defector)

Could be a fun game, Spot the TNG guest stars on other shows

I always had notion that the Borg didn't really engage in large scale assimilation of beings until after "Best of Both Worlds". They DID assimilate people, but it was a bit more of a laborious process than it would become just a bit later.

It was going to be much easier on the Borg if the Federation just surrendered to them, and they could assimilate them casually.
