Stuff that make you wonder but not own thread worthy

He probably just died offscreen in that prison. It's probably more realistic but it does make me sad which is why I always like thinking about these other scenarios where he got a happy ending.
That is sad. I’d like to see them bring him back, or, at least finish his story.

What about a story where holograms from different shows have to team up. Moriarty, Vic Vontaine, EMH1 and EMH2.

By "EMH2" do you mean Andy Dick? I really, really, REALLY hope we never see that again. Andy Dick is a jackass of the lowest order and I would prefer that he be kept far away from Trek for the rest of human existence.

That said, I'd love to have the EMH meet Vic.

Well I was thinking more back then, like 2000ish as a Voyager episode with as many established hologram characters, or as a modern book or comic or something. I like that character. I'd thought James Darren was dead but I guess he and the Doctor could meet in modern Trek.

Wow. Too bad they didn't give Harry any dialogue on the subject.

In "Time's Arrow 1", we saw Data cream a couple of cardsharks so he had green to spare. So for him, proper clothing was easy matter. So... how did the rest of the group get their clothes? They couldn't even make rent!

Which leads me to wonder how large Starfleet Academy actually is. (The larger, the lower the odds Harry Kim would have known Wesley personally.) You'd expect Starfleet as a whole would need hundreds of thousands of officers, if not more. (And of course SF Academy on earth needn't be the only location).

Yeah, the Academy has all sorts of campuses/annexes.

Data didn't know where/if he was going when he went back in time. They knew and could plan for it because they were following him, right?

Here's another one.... the Kretassians, on Enterprise, were apparently experienced explorers... they had little difficulty picking up English from the data exchange they received. So, shouldn't they have already been aware that other humanoid cultures didn't have a taboo on eating food in the presence of others?

I always looked at the Kreetasians as upper class people... knowing things but not giving a damn because they are entitled brats.
Their behavior at the start of "Vox Sola" showed an element of shock at the idea that any species would do such a thing. It seems to me that most races are like us, regarding eating together as normal and healthy, and even a positive communal act. Surely the Kretassians would at least know this.

Agreed. They might still strongly disapprove of it amongst themselves and not be diplomatic enough to hide that, but at least I would expect them to know that other races felt differently about the issue. Here, it seems they've never seen or even heard about it.

Considering they are spacefaring and are well traveled, I agree they have to know these things already.

Hence why I equate them with the upper class entitlement attitude.

They, like every other (space-faring) race, probably share the dichotomy of wanting to explore the new, strange, exotic, and mysterious, while at the same time hoping to find someone like themselves out there.
