I got chills watching it. I cannot wait for this final season.

I'll have to watch the trailer several more times before I can fully unpack it but the two things that immediately leap out to me are seeing Linda Hamilton looking like a badass as always and Nancy viscerally weeping while washing blood off her hands (someone has definitely died...).

Good thing there's plenty of time to rewatch.

Even as someone who remembers much of the show (granted I did a rewatch before the last season), I'm still planning to rewatch it again before this season, too. That's how much I love it.

There is plenty of time but it also depends on how I feel. Season 4 was quite a commitment.

Because they only aired five seasons in ten years, they're ending the series before they could get enough of the characters. I miss those 20-episode, ten-season series. Luckily, an animated series is coming between seasons two and three, so we'll get to see more of the characters in the future.

I hope they don't resort to the same nonsense of making 5 seasons in 10 years again. They'll 'release' a new season every year for 5-10 years.

TBF, the delays were not planned. The first three seasons were released fairly quickly and then the pandemic hit, followed by the actor and writer strikes.

From certain rumor circles, at least three characters go the way of cemetery occupants. Again, its from the rumor world, so there's no confirmation. If any character had to die, I hope the producers go in the least obvious direction.
