Strange Star Trek dreams

I had a couple recently. One involved putting crewmen in stasis along the hull of ships, Disco Klingon style, but better.

A second dream was rather like the Inner Light with a steampunk time machine in the floor of the 1701-D.
Picard became a post Holmes Dr Watson that made an appearance after his death and burial for one last case somehow.

I don’t remember the vodka brand

I had a weird dream in which the psycho Scorpio (from Dirty Harry) was spying on Kirk, McCoy and Spoc from behind a bush. He came out from behind the bushes and started singing 'Row, row, row your boat' along with The Big Three.

Kirk, Spock and McCoy simply smiled and welcomed him and tall four of them continued singing together.

Lol, sounds personal

I had one where there was a Talosian in my house. At one point we encountered its child (also talosian) who had a bunch of dents in its head. I also heard a bunch of random voices that I couldn’t understand. Then the talosian drank something, and there were a bunch of random bumps on its head.

I've just had a Picard/X-Men dream, I think. I don't remember much, but Admiral Picard/Professor X, this young-looking (but probably about 40ish) angry woman with freckles and messy, short red hair, and me were looking for Riker and Troi while trying to evade some unseen/unknown bad guys.
At one point we were in a lift/elevator that was plummeting down the shaft and the angry woman teleported us out. We appeared in front of some big, ornate gates of a cemetary then went to find a specific grave. The grave was in what looked like the kitchen garden of a stately home (there were vegetables growing near it), and we started to dig it up.
Then, later in the dream, the angry woman and I were in a poorly lit room (or shed) looking at a map. She wanted to look at every place on the map to determine whether or not Riker and Troi were there which I thought would take too long, but she just skimmed over it until she got to the area where she lived or grew up (it was somewhere in North America, possibly in Canada). Anyway, her home town was in a county that looked very much like my home county in England, and I started to talk to her about it in an effort to calm her down.
And at some other point, we were back to that graveyard/vegetable garden having to dig up the grave again.

I don't know what it was all about? :vulcan:

After seeing the 2009 movie, I had several dreams about the Riverside shipyard. One time I was sneaking in at night avoiding patrolling guards with guard dogs. Another I was visiting on a school trip (I was25 at the time:lol:)

I had several dreams this morning, one of which was partially star Trek.

In the dream I seemed to be learning about the history of the eastern Roman or "Byzantine" Empire, including the history of at least one ficitonal dynasty.. Apparently Mr. Spock from Star Trek lived in the empire and was an importnt leader there for centuries due to his Vulcan lifespan and maybe time travel.

Whenever there was a child emperor over a period of centuries, Spock was the regent for them.

The thread about starships landing made me think of a dream where the Defiant had crash landed on top of a forest on some planet. I remember seeing the ship suspended about the ground sitting in the treetops. I really want to make an image like that one day, but have the Defiant here in the middle of the Australian bushland parked on it's landing struts and just sitting there.

I just had one about the second season of Lower Decks
So...Boimler Spoiler Alert
It was an episode of the second season and for some reason Boimler was demoted to bartender in the Cherrito's lounge and Rutherford wanted to ask him out because he "looked so cute in his bartender outfit" and Mariner was encouraging him to do so.
Then there was time travel and the promo picture showed Boimler as a 24th century bartender, as a "bad future/apocalyptic" bartender, a 21st century and a wildwest one.
All four characters arrived in present day and went grocery shopping and Tandi was disappointed that she couldn't find any macaroni and cheese.

Sounds like a regular episode of Lower Decks

A related question would be, did Star Trek writers ever have dreams they then used for story ideas or concepts, and actually ended up on screen (even if in a modified form)?

Or Threshold. That one seems like something I would either dream or write after consuming a whole bottle of Wild Irish Rose.

Last night I dreamt I was serving on the Enterprise-D and it must have been in one of the early seasons because I was going to be serving with Wesley Crusher. I assumed I was going to be his boss. I'm 39, he's 15. Turns out he was going to be my boss. We had to go put price tags on things in the Enterprise gift shop. And as we're working I say something to the tune of, "Listen kid, I'm fine with you being my boss, but I thought we lived in a moneyless society, so who are we selling this stuff to?" And then I broke the dream and woke up.

I had a weird dream that I was watching a Deep Space 9 episode named after the proverb "Before starting on a journey of revenge, start by digging two graves". No such episode, but I do think it would fit in. Maybe one of the Klingon ones. Even after I woke up I was trying to figure out which episode it was; it was weird.

I've had a handful of memorable Star Trek dreams, but my favorite is when Jack Black and myself were crewman--with the rank of Crewman--aboard Voyager. Crewman Black, sadly, got the redshirt treatment, and was sucked out an airlock.

But in another dream, I was the redshirt. We were on an away mission, and Commander Chakotay told us to stay away from a cave. So I naturally headed right in; I'm an explorer. In the cave I found a blond middle school aged boy, dressed in blue jeans, sneakers, a British red coat from the Revolutionary War, and a matching hat. With his hand in his shirt like Napoleon, the boy smuggly said something I didn't catch. Then out of the darkness come two somewhat toon-y snake eyes: the ones on the title page illustration from "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Then I woke up. Apparently, I was killed by the basilisk!

I had a dream where I fired up Netflix to watch some DS9 and the cold opening was Sisko doing stand up comedy and suddenly he drops an f bomb (this was before discovery aired) and the intro featured a homemade paper version of the station with human voices humming the theme and when the the episode came on it was an animated cartoon.

I'd pay actual money to watch that.
