I just watched the episode, and it was great, a solid 8/10 (held back a bit by some of SNW S2's stupidity, specifically Spock's weird attitude). Its the first episode this season that I'd watch again, and the first one thats anywhere near as good as the average Season 1 episodes. Boimler and Mariner were great, the actors are perfect for the characters even in live action. There were also a bunch of references that were fun, and the overall story was very good and treated both shows well. Overall, I'd say this will probably go down as a classic episode of Trek, at least for me.

It worked for some people, others it did not. I did not happen to like it too much. But this episode is hardly the worst thing I have seen on Paramount+ concerning Star Trek. I actually have more of a problem with the damn Chamber of Horrors turbolift interior.
