Strange New Worlds Costuming

No. They weren't that high, tight and choking like that. Plus those are the dress uniforms.
No, they were higher and tighter:

They look lower. But again. They were not wearing dress uniforms in beyond. It was their work uniform and the collars are way too tight and stuffy for field work.
Closer to Class A, or business uniform. A field uniform should be designed for landing party work. The Beyond uniforms were appropriate business attire.

No the Beyond uniforms were pretty much the standard uniform work uniform. They changed them from the original ones from the first two movies. Again they were way too stuffy

Business uniforms are standard wear as well, depending on the command. Nothing wrong with them as daily operational uniforms.

Too constricting and thick material. The earlier versions were much more workable.
No worse than working in a shirt and tie. I did that for ten years un retail.

Sure, they could have a less formal uniform and I would welcome it. But I don't see it as unworkable.

The SNW uniforms look more comfortable and suited to being out I'm the field.

Ok. But this wasn't a discussion of field uniforms. This was the Beyond uniforms as a duty uniform. Which I compare to a business class/class A uniform of the US Military branches, which are utilized in day to day operations depending on the assignment.

Field uniforms should be different. Doesn't make the Beyond ones bad.

The duty uniforms are the field ones they wear on the bridge and landing parties. The ones they showed in beyond were those uniforms.

Doesn't have to be that way. Field and utilities should be a part of their wardrobe, not one size fits all situations.

Still the ones in SNW are much more comfortable at the neck area. Who wants to be wearing a tight collar while on duty and exploring planets. These things were pretty much right up to the chin. Give me the black t-shirt and v necks of SNW any day.

The Live-Action ST:LDS uniforms look good.

Still think the white line needs to be up about 1" to align with the 45° flap.

But otherwise, I think it looks fine.

The Black shoulders are a little bit too light shade of black, should've been a darker color that is closer to TNG black shoulders
