Also reading the patch notes thread for tribble the TR-116 is going to be craftable.

Considering it sounds like the Borg will be back in expansion 2 that would probably be something to invest in.

So in a 10 days we get the last functionalities and amneties for the mine active.

There might be one or two smaller follow up upgrades, but mainly we are a among the grown up fleets now XD

It is strangely fitting. Cause with the T3 upgrade we gain independence from any charity chat channels at least for this holding.

We already have access to all the T3 gear from the mine.

here is what the final upgrade will get us:

Another 6% discount to all dilithium requirements for fleet projects!
Another 6% discount for all dilithium stores (dilithium store, rep stores, potentially crafting stores??)
Rich Dilithium Mining Daily Mission (possibly a small upgrade project)
Dilithium Tailor and Costume unlock (I think is is another small upgrade project)
Exchange Access
Interior Second Level Access (just visual/cosmetic upgrade)
Purple Quality Mining Doffs

Well done on the upgrades, you folks have made with your fleet. Around 2 weeks ago, I returned to the game, and joined a new fleet, with friends from my ship in SFI. It's been fun starting a fleet from the start. Was thinking of bring my Klingon characters over to the house of TrekBBS, but both joined KDF.

My best recommendation would to read the wiki also. There is a section there on basics of the game - very useful for new players.

I just started STO, So far I only don't understand how to get dillithium.
And funny that they still use the Miranda class in 2409

Dilithium is a reward/currency which is earned by a number of missions primarily and Duty Officer assigments secondary.

It can also bought on the player driven dilithium exchange for Zen (Perfect's World real money currency)

At low levels you don't really have many opportunities to earn dilithium. More opportunities will open up at higher levels, don't worry.
At lower levels, you don't really need it yet.
The gear you loot should be mostly enough for the leveling process.

I was looking at what was needed for us to reach t3 on the embassy. Diplomacy needs another 17 projects to be run, and the recruitment needs another 10 to reach t3.

From what i can see we will need;
19,305 Fleet Marks
737,100 dilithium
510 Civilian Duty Officers
300 Tactical Duty Officers
1,080,000 expertise
14,364 Entertainment Provisions
594 Embassy Provisions

That is assuming the projects have the same requirements as the current slotted ones, and they award 1200xp.

Overall it isn't that much difference to what we needed to complete the recent mine upgrade. Personally i'll be concentrating to filling these projects so we can get the embassy completed.

It makes sense considering that you start as a freshly graduated cadet on a training cruise (unless Cryptic has changed the starting story). What else would you use as a training ship?

While there are a handful of low level means of obtaining Dilithium, it does not become important till you reach level 50. That's when Dilithium is truly needed to buy advanced gear. Its also when the game opens up several dozen ways of obtaining Dilithium.

House of TrekBBS update:
Both tracks of the spire have been upgraded to T1, and I have begun filling the upgrade requirements for the Spire T1 upgrade.

As always, contributions are welcome!

I'm going to do some provisioning projects soon as well, so anyone popping over can outfit their ships if they need to.

I filled a couple more embassy projects, except dilithium. getting short on that supply for the moment.

If you have some to spare, feel free to help out.

If we keep the pace up we can dive right into the Embassy upgrades as soon as the Dilithium Mine is finally completed.
