The discount is including every dilithium store except personal reputation. So good deal for everybody to save dilithium everywhere.

Well that will be nice since I have my eye on them elite fleet ground weapons.

Haven't done much shopping in the fleet store. There are a couple shiny toys, but in general, seems the bonuses for using a full STF (or other) set trumps whatever upgrade the elite items get you.

All i've done so far is grab a couple elite ground weapons, so I can carry my regular Omega or MACO set, and have the other gun as the primary.

Of course, all that was back when you actually needed to run ground STFs and used weapons occasionally. Since the last nerf, haven't run a ground mission in forever...

So far I have grabbed fleet quantum torps and a few anti proton duel heavy cannons... I'm wondering what I should put my eye on next... what else are exceptional as fleet purchases?

edit: and I had the honor of finishing the mine upgrade, after several fleet missions we are on our way... I love discounts!

The Security Officer is the same one as on ESD in the center, so will take contraband and captured Changelings for dilithium.

Should we wait on the base upgrade until the DIL Mine upgrade goes through? Not sure how the timeouts work for the discount...

I think we are good.
The discount should be subtracted from the total dilithium requirement the moment the Mine upgrade is fiished.
I doubt we have filled it up to critical mass by then.
Feel free to fill doffs and commodities however, those are already discounted.

Yep. This one's going to be an expensive one, but if everyone kicks in a little, won't hurt so bad. Pick something and grind for it a little bit. Buy stuff at the store, run a few STFs for DIL, be creative...

How does the mine work? The only option it gave me yesterday was to leave the system. Is that just while updating? Also, are there doff missions in the space area?

Timelord: you should make a tutorial on how to make good builds.

And, how can you see someone else's gateway? That could be a big help.

We only get access to the ground map of the mine, once we complete the T1 upgrade.

So should be done in a few days.

Well, I know how to make a decent build. It certainly isn't min/max builds my advice is good for. You might want to talk to Blamo about that. Though min/max builds tend to lack a bit of the Trek feeling.

If you go to http://gateway.startrekonline.com/ you log in with the same log in data as the game. You pick your character you choose to view and from the characters main page you can see his fleet's roster and view those captains and ships as well.

Yep, I also build my ships and crew with an authentic Star Trek feel. I think most of your STO min/maxers are heavy into PvP or STF runs.

The dililthium mine is upgraded and should grant accees to the ground map now.

The fleet project dilithium discount also applies now.

So go ahead and focus on Starbase upgrade now.

The dilithium mine is running a dilithium store discount project now, so most dilithium stores in game provide a general discount for all fleet members.

That's what I thought, but apparently we have to complete the project.
The dilithium discount for other fleet projects however is already in effect.

Yeah, that's for our discount to personal items (I believe) vice the fleet project thing.

Not really a shock, it's the standard 'grind for the ability to grind' mentality they've stuck with. Like for Reputation stuff, where you grind for the ability to access the store, which just unlocks the STORE. You then have to grind more to run the project to actually buy stuff. Heaven forbid that having the ability to buy stuff means you can actually do so

Everyone please keep on grinding away on the Starbase Tier 3 upgrade. Big project, so every time you can grab some quick Fleet Marks or grind some DIL towards it, it'll keep the project moving. Personally, I've been trying to grind those Summer Event birds into Fleet Marks and keep it going that way, plus a couple quick STFs a day for the DIL. Get enough people thinking that way, we can knock it out...

Since we are a bit struggling with the dilithium, how would you guys feel about selling off some of our fleet ship provisions for dilithium?What would be a fair price?
50k? 100k?
What would someone wanting a T3 fleet ship be able to afford?

We have 186 fleet ship provisions. We could sell off 100 of them and still have a lifetime amount for all fleet members.
