Crystalline Entity event is live. That should help a lot with the current upgrade projects. The mission itself rewards dilithium and marks plus a hefty dilithium/mark reward at the end of the event.

I have been computer-less and unable to play. I hacked together my sons old laptop and can now go back to kicking ass and taking names. I created a Klingon toon by the name of "B'onz". Could he please get an invite to the House of TrekBBS? Look forward to gaming with you all.

I have contributed 1,000,000 dilithium to the Embassy upgrade. I want to let everyone know that will probably be my last dilithium contribution until I find out how much Dil, if any, I will need for upgrading purposes for Delta Rising.

I will still contribute fleet marks and any commodities or other items necessary.

Embassy DIL requirement has been taken care of. We now just need around 9k Fleet Marks and some commodities, and that project should finalize. Getting close, guys! While you're running the CE event, just grab fleet marks instead of Nukara marks (unless you need those for some reason), and we should be gathering enough to kill this one soon.

While you're running the CE event, just grab fleet marks instead of Nukara marks (unless you need those for some reason), and we should be gathering enough to kill this one soon.

And a slight suggestion for those buying commodities, since the Embassy has a discount vendor its a good way to get more for your EC.

Since when does Starbase Incursion pay out so much marks?

That was the second time today that I got nearly 100 fleet marks from it!

much better than Colony Invasion that way!

Embassy T3 project underway, just on 10-day cooldown now. From there, should just be the little projects to park a bank and whatnot on it, and we'll have 2 holdings complete!

Back to grinding away on Spire and Starbase...

Not for long, T4 starbase upgrade is due on friday.

After that it's probably just regular leveling for a few weeks before we reach the upgrade stages for the Spire and Science/Engineering tracks of the starbase.

And with X2 we most likely get an entirely new holding to level up soon.

When the new holding comes along we will probably be starting the T3 upgrades for the Spire.

We're in a pretty good place, been making great progress lately. Lots of stuff hitting right now, but we're starting to put a few behind us, so should be happy with that. Spire is winding down, Starbase T4 soon, and then we'll be pretty much clear to just work whatever the new holding is while starting the long, long grind to T5 Starbase...

Personally, I'd hold off any any further purchases (rep gear, ships, consoles) until the expansion hits the servers. May be that a good amount of what you buy is obsolete by then and needs to be rebought. If you just save up for now, it may be you can go straight to XIV gear or T6 ships, or at least will get an updated T5 without having to pay. Or maybe not, but at least you'll know the score before you buy anything. Anything you buy right now may be junk in a month, so I'd hold off for now.

But yes, Starbase T4 upgrade is in progress, so please start working on the Marks and DIL for that one. 20k marks, 1.6M DIL. A little work, but not so bad in the scheme of things. Should have that one going in a couple weeks, at the pace we've been hitting these things. And Bonus Mark weekend next weekend, plus steady marks from doing the CE event every day for a while, so we should move right along on this one.

Largely it depends on just what the content that requires a T6 or T5-U is.

Because the only thing I can come up with is a new difficulty setting for que events.

Eh, it'll creep into everything eventually. They can't figure out how to make things more challenging, so they usually just up the hit points and allow things to one-shot you. Give it a little bit, and you'll end up at a huge disadvantage I'm sure.

Either way, think the advice was solid. Why dump tons of marks and dil on rep gear at Mk XII when you may be able to buy Mk XIV soon? Or until we figure out the ship upgrade, why spend tons of credits and modules on a ship you may not want? Why not just save it until you see what the new ones cost? At least then if you still decide you want the ship you could have bought today, you're going into it with open eyes...
