Still in a kitbashing mood

Are those impulse engines on the underside of the lower hull?

Yup! They were air scoops on TOP of the original kit, now they're exhausts on the bottom.

Sweet looking, with the first coats of paint on her those engine don't look too out of place now.

You know that part right on the bottom of the secondary hull almost looks like it could a be a ship itself..a large shuttle or Captain's yaught maybe...it looks like the Delta Flyer upside down(of course there's no up and down in space).

Amazing. Really, how you can cobble together a model from disparate parts (high-lighters, fer crissakes, high-lighters!) that looks as good (if not better) than the CGI ships Paramount pays God knows how much for...

To quote the late, great Bobby Baccala: "I'm in awe of you."

Actually, using highlighters as nacelles was done in official Trek back in the time when they still used models.

^Whic was exactly what first inspired me to run out to Staples and browse the highlighter rack.

Huh. And I had known that and one point and forgotten. Anyway, your kitbashes are still more interesting than a good 80% of the official designs.

Aw shucks, thanks. :D

She's all done. Give me a day or two to cut out photos and comp up action shots and make the web page.

I love your designs.

Ans when at my mom's house for Xmas, I was ecstatic to find a refit Enterprise model that I had assembled, but it had fallen and split apart. All the parts are there, just needs to be cleaned up and rebuilt.
