Stick a fork in it...

The Scorpion King was not a bad test run for a Conan film, but Scorpion King 2 was mediocre. At best.
Actually, quick thought, three's a film to be made. The Rock character from SK1, and how he became the twisted darkness of The Mummy Returns. One of those things that could be really well done or mediocre. At best.

The Highlander films... big mistake making a second one of those. I loved the series, but they basically slaughtered it. Too bad too.

Lethal Weapon 3

I loved Lethal Weapon 1 & 2 but I knew when they didn't kill off Rigg's love interest it was over and it was going to turn into some tame family version of Lethal Weapon.

The only thing I liked about Lethal Weapon 4 was Jet Li playing a bad guy.

Star Trek Generations. HA! Take that.

Escape From L.A.

Where Snake Plisskin commits mass murder at the end...again.

The joke of those movies is that he's not only an incompetent protagonist (loses all his gear and everyone who helps him dies), but he's actually a greater villain than any of the other characters in the movie.

Also, how did John Carpenter turn into such a suck ass director after the 1980's ended?

Degrassi: The Next Generation. I loved Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High, and I was skeptical of Degrassi: TNG, but it quickly became one of my favourite shows as it had very good writing, placing it above many teen drama shows. It was also unique in that some pivotal characters from Degrassi JH and Degrassi High appeared in it in important roles and not simply as background characters, so it had something for older fans as well. I stopped watching though when Season 8 started as it was a completely new cast of juniors. When your cast has moved on, and you don't recognize half the people on the show, I think it's safe to say it's time to put a fork in it. They should learn from Saved by The Bell: The New Class. That didn't end well.

Alien Resurrection really ruined it for me, so I'll nominate that. It was pretty embarrassing for fans of the franchise.

Yeah..I agree Sly. Alien 3 isn't that bad of a movie. It came after Aliens. I don't think any movie following Aliens would have been as good. But Resurrection was just an awful movie...

Day of the Dead (the original)

After Night and Dawn, I was looking forward to Romero's latest. I know he has his fans, but to me the movie was lame, boring, and cliched. And his more recent zombie offerings Land, Diary, and Survival proves George has lost his touch.

Oh, I totally agee Mr. Nighttime. I saw the first, and best one (Night of the Living Dead) as the second feature at a double feature. The "feature" attaction was a movie version (two episodes edited together) of DARK SHADOWS. I had no idea what Night of the Livingdead was going to be about..and wow....that movie was just out of nowhere and seemed so real. Scared me to death...

All the others, including Dawn, just never got to me as much as that first one.

"They're coming to get you Barbra!"

I love DAY OF THE DEAD as much as I love the first two movies. LAND is decent, although a step down. Neither DIARY or SURVIVAL do much for me.

I thought the RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD series wasn't that good. Just wasn't scary but seems like it inspired many of the current 'dead' video games.
