So is this how DW showrunners are rewarded when the resign? RTD got his OBE shortly after he announced his plans to step down, and now Moffat get's his only weeks after announcing he'll be stepping down.

Wasn't this announced months ago though, long before he announced he was stepping down (officially at least but I'm not sure if her Maj is a regular poster at Gallifrey Base)
