Very nice! had me puzzled for a second, then I finally caught the image.

ETA: It just occurred to me that this must mean Steve Jobs was a Borg all along.

I know it's been a while since people have posted to this thread... but I found some interesting information that I'd like to share here.

A lot of people criticized Jobs for not getting surgery back in 2003 and instead tried to fight his pancreatic cancer via natural means. Well, Dr. John McDougall presents an alternative view that makes a lot of sense to me. I recommend watching it (you can skip into about 10 minutes if you're short on time).

^I stopped watching after Dr. McDougall stated that it was "safe to assume" that when Jobs' tumor was first dx'd, it was >1 cm, even though -- as he acknowledged -- tumors as small as 2 mm are visible on CT scans, and he hadn't seen Jobs' medical records. Not a very credible beginning...

I think the main point is the invasive rate of the cancer. It's true that some are much more rapid than others, and that the rate can change over time. But from all the information made available, it was not likely that surgery in 2003 would have made much of a difference. The cancer was very likely already in his liver, just starting to metastasize. And once there, it can easily spread throughout the body.

The upshot is to never take your health for granted and... if you've got the funds, get thorough detailed check-ups frequently, especially if there's family history of illness and/or you've been exposed to cancer promoting environments (e.g. industrial compounds, significant exposure to the sun during early years, etc).

When it's a trivial thread, bumping it back to life can seem trite and a waste. But when it's a thread about something significant, I see no reason why it can be pumped to life again, especially if it hasn't been a full year since it was started.
