Stephanie Niznik, Insurrection's Ensign Perrin passes away at 52.

Perhaps better known for her role on Everwood, Niznik played the Trill helms-person Kell Perim in Star Trek: Insurrection. She was only 52.

Very sorry to hear that. Her character did get much more background and exposure in the A Time To...novels which was nice. Gave me a greater appreciation for her role in Insurrection. It's always nice when a character you know little about on screen gets fleshed out.
