Being an avid Steeler's fan is about the only Pittsburgh pride I show openly. They are what is right in professional sports, the ownership isn't obsessed with money they are obsessed with winning, and respecting the integrity of the game.

As a Jets fan, I'm used to this. But it's too bad that the Giants didn't just win the Super Bowl.

Too bad the steelers haven't got a ring for each finger,

I'm not a Steelers fan per se, but I have been following them more these past few seasons because they drafted Big Ben from my alma mater.

What's the general consensus on the Steelers draft this year? It seemed outrageously good from my limited perspective. A top flight receiver and top notch running back. PLus... I'm thinking that Dennis Dixon was a good gamble. His rehab from the knee injury seems to be comgin along well. If it returns him to his college form - admittedly a BIG "if" - you could have another "slash" ala Sterwart or Randle El.

The consensus is wait and see. While they def picked up some grade A weapons. They seemed to do nothing about their O-line. If they don't get that together they go nowhere this season. I have the feeling thay will challenge in the AFC once again.
