Still in awe that John De Lancie, Anne Lockhart, and Mark Rolston will be appearing in this episode. That's a lot of experience and I'm looking forward to seeing them.

I saw the thread and got excited, sigh........looking forward to it being released over the weekend!

Just finished watching it. Probably the best compliment I can give it is "Classic Star Trek". Really felt like I was watching one of the original episodes. John de Lancie, Anne Lockhart, and Elizabeth Maxwell were very good in their roles. Loved watching "Q" chew up the screen :) More later after it's "released".

I'm going to give a slight edge to Lolani but this is a close second for me, almost too close to call.

Looking forward to it. Sorry the series is wrapping up, but all good things and all that. They have set a very high bar for future fan film makers.

Giving it another watch now. What an outstanding episode! I echo the sentiment that it's as well-written as Lolani.

McCoy “What the devil was he wearing”

Kirk: "No idea, but you will never get me into one of those things"

I forgot that I had donated to this so I was surprised to get the email.
Really great episode. I agree with the comments above, this episode is on a similar level of quality as Lolani.

I'm not ready to rate this yet. I'm going to watch it again.

Two small moments of foreshadowing I feel are out of place, but enough said there.

Overall it did feel quite third season like and in a good way. And, yeah, it did feel similar to "Lolani." It also felt quite topical in regard to today yet also in a timeless way.

I do miss Doug Drexler's f/x as his work looked less contemporary, but overall the episode looked good.

I enjoyed this one. The first two minutes is devoted entirely to unneeded exposition and connecting continuity dots, but if you skip past that there's there's a quite nice 60's-style Trek story.

Probably their best since "Lolani."

The character beats in between the exposition was worth it, I felt.

The scene between Kirk and Galisiti debating the morality of the Prime Directive was particularly well written, and Vic and de Lancie's performances were pretty spectacular in that moment.

Just saw the episode online.
I really enjoyed watching this episode, I think it's one of their best.

I do have one question: If they could only see in black and white, how is it possible that they all have garments of different colours. Wouldn't it be more logical that they would wear the same colour of non colour of clothing? Or maybe even a jumble of different colours?
Because they can't see the difference!
