I guess it serves well in that regard. My own introduction was "Ultraman Mebius", which also was a show about a young Ultraman discovering his legacy. But that was almost fifteen years ago, now, and a lot has happened in the Ultra-Multiverse since then.

It was my first Ultraman series, and I quite enjoyed it. I didn't feel like I had a hard time following it, or that the references and homages detracted from the basic premise in any way.

In fact, it has inspired me to start Ultraman Geed, on account of enjoying his appearances in Z. I'm only two episodes into Geed so far, but it's been a good start.

Next Ultraman- Possibly gun/blaster related?

Since we're so sword heavy in Kamen Rider Saber could we get a gun themed Kamen Rider series this year? Focusing more on long range combat is a decent way of getting around Covid restrictions at least so I wouldn’t be surprised honestly.

Also, Tsuburaya will start a series in the style of "Ultraman Zero: The Chronicle", "Ultraman Chronicle Z: Heroes' Odyssey", re-telling the adventures of both Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Z using footage from previous shows and films, with new footage featuring Ultraman Zero as a kind of narrator/host. This new show will also be streamed on YouTube in place of the recently ended "Ultraman Z", and will also feature optional English subtitles.

There won't be much footage of Hiroshi Nagano who played Tiga's host

Apparently Tsuburaya is not wanting to deal with the actor's talent agency, Johhny & Associates, who are very notorious for being strict in controlling info on regards of their talents, which means they restrict Daigo's on-screen appearance.

I noticed that Daigo didn't appear on-screen. That is really a bummer, and I have to wonder how they want to keep this going in future episodes.
