I'm getting tired of how dense the show is making Ayumu when it comes to her unquestioning acceptance of Sorato. She doesn't wonder how he knows so much about kaiju, she buys the flimsy stories he and Kosei fabricate right in front of her, etc. And here, she failed to be observant enough to notice Omega giving hand signals to Kosei. Even Lois Lane at her worst was more perceptive than this. Well, at least there's precedent for allies being brought in on the secret at or before midseason, like in Geed, R/B, and Trigger. Hopefully that's the plan here.
By the way, it's a good thing I like the end title song, since I haven't been skipping the end credits, so I noticed that they include a couple of deleted scenes in the mix of clips every now and then.
