Starships of the "MadUniverse"

Love the second one,the ganymede is like the kelvin from the movie, same design line maybe. Other than the saucer, still can't stand the nu-Enterprise.

Great job MadMan1701A if I was to finalise one of my ideas could you model lets say a Hover bike once I finish the sketches Like a 3d model with blue prints afterwards so I can build this hover bike the other one I showed is not worthy of your fine talent, but if you want work up a 3d model of please do. I would like to see it. I just finished a computer sketch of the hover Bike I'll upload it tomorrow so you can see what I'm asking for.

OK, I'll take a look, but I can't promise anything. :)

Man you do nice work. These all share a certain "gracefulness", perhaps the kelvin-ish thin saucer...nice lines anyhow.

Two of those ships, the one with the two hulls, and the 3-nacelled ship, are those fairly accurate to the blurry bits onscreen? At one point I tried to flesh those out from that starbase screencap, but got nowhere. Your concepts for those are extremely cool.

I wonder if you would be so generous as to share the texture /image that you used for the texture maps? :) (I'm getting tired of the old one I have, and yours is really what I was trying to achieve in the first place) :)

Great work.

Great work.
Thanks. :) I think they are sort of accurate... as far as the arrangement of the parts is concerned. All the details are different, of course.

Sure... I don't mind if you use them. They aren't very complicated...

And the generic square one: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/MadMan1701A/Constellation WIP2/GenericHull.jpg

And last, the Nacelle Dome: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/MadMan1701A/Constellation WIP2/NacelleDomeConst2.jpg

Those are the major ones, anyway. I hope they help you out. :)

On an unrelated note, do you still have that old, weird Enterprise D image that you had made, that had the secondary hull that looked like a viper?

Wow, thanks! Very generous,sir.
Yeah, I found a small compressed jpg of it (deleted the psd long ago), I will upload and link. It's pretty disturbing. :)

OK. Here she be...

Here's another odd, canon violating "concept"...actually these"nacelles" are placeholders on my latest JJ Next-Gen E attempt.

This ship, at one point, was given a rusty red overall color and
designated as a vulcan design...why I have no concrete idea, it just looked absurdly exotic enough to just not be if Fed origin:)

Anyway, thanks for the textures, and enjoy these.

Looks cool to me :)

and reminds me of Atolms ship design work :) :techman:

Thanks for the weird pics. :) Something useful might come out of them, one day...

I'm working on a Romulan ship, now. I'll have renders soon. :)

SWEET! I've been trying to think of a romulan design. Not sure if I want to go slightly like the Narada, barbs and whatnot, or a more bird like one (thinking that they'd be based on Romulan birds, which I'm thinking are more reptilian than avian, hence why they're always green.)

I'd go with the bird approach. The Connie and D-7 seem to be the same basic shape as their prime counterparts, besides shape and size differences, and the Narada's from the future, so it doesn't quite factor into 23rd century Alternate!Romulan design.

I'm taking a stab at a sleek aggressive Romulan design. Romulan's are tricky buggers anyway, they steal plans all the damn time. So I'm taking a couple ques from the ships of Star Trek: DAC and applying it to the prime counterparts.
